An expert in macroeconomics, Sapir serves in the Budget Department of the Israeli Ministry of Finance as Head of the Transportation and Aviation team. There, she crafts strategic plans and allocates the state budget of ~10 billion dollars with a goal to promote Israel’s economic growth. She was previously the Head of the Communication, Higher Education, Innovation and Tech team, in charge of the Israel Defense budget, served as Energy Economist and was a Teaching Assistant in Economics.
Currently, she is an Executive MBA candidate at the Judge Business School at the University of Cambridge. She holds a BA in Economics and Politics (summa cum laude) and an MA in Economics (honors program, cum laude) from Ben Gurion University in Beer Sheva, Israel. She is the recipient of the prestigious Rothschild scholarship.
