Michael Allouche started his professional career at Airbus Industrie, Toulouse as Avionics Certification Manager. In 1992, he made his Alyah and immediately joined Israel Aerospace Industries, first as Flight Control System Manager in the Galaxy business aircraft and then at the Malat Engineering Division as UAS Airworthiness Certification Manager coordinating all the technical activities leading to the granting of Malat UAS family Flight Permit and Airworthiness Certificates from worldwide military and civilian authorities. In parallel, he became the chairman of the EUROCAE Working Group WG-105 on UAS standards and Israeli expert member of the NATO WG on UAS airworthiness requirements. In 2016, he was granted the IAI CEO prize for his leading role in the field of UAS certification and in 2019, he was granted the EUROCAE life-time achievement award in both cases as a recognized worldwide expert. Since his retirement from IAI in April 2020, Michael Allouche acts as a private consultant in his field of expertise and experience. He provides regularly technical advices to various Aerospace and start-up companies in the field of airworthiness certification (Unmanned Aircraft Systems and manned aircraft). In parallel, after he got the status of EUROCAE Honorary member in April 2020, he continues his active involvement in the UAS-rule making process:

• UAS Airworthiness course instructor at EUROCAE (EU/EASA regulations) since June 2020
• EUROCAE WG-105 Design & Airworthiness Subgroup leader and member of the UAS WG-105 Steering committee
• Member of ICAO RPAS Panel, JARUS WG-Airworthiness and JARUS WG-SRM (Safety/SORA).
• Designated member of the EASA UAS Rule-Making Expert Group (RMT030) since March 2021.

Member of SHEPHERD consortium that was awarded a two years contract by EASA in May 2022 to assess various UAS standards.
